Farrah Fawcett's son was allowed out of jail to visit her for possibly the last time.
Redmond O'Neal, 24, was allowed out of prison for the second time to meet with his cancer stricken mother on Friday (15.05.09).
Redmond is currently being enrolled in a treatment program at the prison, where he is being held for possession of drugs after he was caught in possession of drugs on the grounds of another Californian jail.
A source told US magazine In Touch Weekly: "He went to her condo to spend time with her."
Redmond has been jailed since April 5, when he was found to be in possession of the drugs in the prison, which he was dropping off for friends.
Farrah's family has reportedly kept the news of her son's incarceration from her. Redmond was allowed to visit her on April 25 for the first time. His legs were shackled, but his hands were free of cuffs.
The visit was filmed for the documentary 'Farrah's Story' which chronicled the former 'Charlie's Angels' actress' battle with anal cancer in the form of a video diary. Footage included the star receiving treatments in the US and Germany and was watched by over nine million people.
Before his April visit, Ryan O'Neal - Redmond's father and Farrah's long term partner - told his son: "Live your life as a tribute to your mother."
Farrah was initially diagnosed with cancer in 2006 - originally thought to be colon cancer. Although doctors believed it had been successfully treated, the illness returned in May 2007.
Redmond is entered into a year-long rehab programme at the Twin Towers correctional facility in Los Angeles. If he fails to complete the treatment, he faces up to four years in prison.
