No breaks for the child actor who played the young slumdog in Danny Boyle's Oscar winning film, "Slumdog Millionaire."

CNN reported this morning that the Mumbai makeshift slumdweller's home of 10-year-old actor Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, who played the youngest version of Salim in the Oscar-winning film, was demolished early this morning without warning as part of the local Government's planned destruction of a reported 30 "illegal" dwellings.

Azharuddin was at the center of a media storm when it was reported the actor was allegedly beaten by his father upon return to Mumbai after a whirlwind Hollywood Oscar award appearance.

Police gave Ismail's family minutes to evacuate their modest home in the Bandra East slum, with an officer reportedly hitting the sleeping Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail with a bamboo stick to rouse him.

"We are homeless, we have nowhere to go," the boy told reporters following the demolition.

"Our house has been broken down by officials," the boy's mother, Shamim Ismail, told BBC News reporters.

Where are the producers of this movie? Why aren't these child actors receiving some of the profits from this enormous commercial success?

How can the producers of Slumdog Millionaire get away with exploiting the child actors? Are there any child labor laws in India?

May God judge you Danny Boyle and may your flesh rot with your millions that you could never spend in a life time for exploting the children of India's slums.

In the end what profit will you have when your name is cursed by all who it and your money is burnt up like leaves in a fire?

Each of these children are deserving of rightful pay.

What a disgrace this Danny Boyle idiot is. This is exploitation in the upmost degree. $300 million in box office sales and his stars live in slums??!! WTF! Forget about some patronizing trust, if these actors would have been paid even a fraction of what they are worth, they would all be wealthy now by Indian standards. I may be one of the few who have never seen this movie, and now I never will. Shame on you Danny Boyle.
