Christian Bale thought being confronted with a gun was "normal".
The actor encountered difficulties trying to leave Thailand after filming 'Rescue Dawn' in 2006 but insists he loves being involved in risky situations.
He said: "I get bored when I've made a movie and feel there's been no element of danger. I want to tear my hair out.

Christian has been acting since the age of 13 and says his first role in 'Empire of the Sun' was a dream come true for a teenager.
He explained to Esquire magazine: "To get to travel to China? To go to Spain? Getting pilots taking me up in different airplanes? Who the hell wouldn't want to do that when you're 13?"
