Farrah Fawcett's family is gathering to be by her side.
The 62-year-old actress is battling anal cancer that spread into her liver, according to doctor's statements. Los Angeles affiliate television station KTLA reported that Farrah's 91-year-old father James was summoned, as the news about her condition allegedly has worsened.
Fawcett has undergone experimental treatment abroad, and has video journaled her fight with the disease in what may be her last smallscreen production.
Ryan O'Neal spoke to People magazine today that her medical treatments have ended and that her cancer has spread to her liver.
Fawcett is said to be weak, without her famous locks and existing on IV's.
O'Neal told People, "She stays in bed now. The doctors see that she is comfortable. Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment."
"It's a love story," he tells People. "I just don't know how to play this one. I won't know this world without her."
O'Neal is the father of Fawcett's son, Redmond O'Neal, and has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with the actress for many years now. He has been by her side throughout most of her ordeal fighting the disease.
He also revealed to People that he kept her famous hair, lost to chemotherapy, at his home.
"I rub her head. It's kind of fun, actually, this great, tiny little head. How she carried all that hair I'll never know. She doesn't have a vanity about it," O'Neal said.
Fawcett lost her mother and half sister to cancer. Her son Redmond faces addiction rehabilitation struggles and has asked a judge for permission to be by her side at the end of her fight with the disease. The documentary "Farrah's Story," co produced with her friend Alana Stewart, will air on NBC this May 15th, and will follow her journey of her life past and present, as doctors in the United States and Germany tried to help her.
A daughter of Texas, three time Emmy nominee Fawcett defined female beauty in the 1970's, with her iconic "Charlie's Angels" poster featuring her famous mane of blonde hair. She later proved her dramatic mettle with her harrowing portrayal of an abused wife in the 1984 smallsceen movie, "The Burning Bed."

Farrah,
I have been doing a novena for you to Our Lady of Prompt Succor who has never failed me. I also went thru a cancer battle in 1995. I know the fear that threatens to make you lose your mind. I know the fear of leaving a child behind, I know you belive in a higher power and please keep your trust in Him.
I will be with you all the way in prayer daily and praying for a miracle because I have witnessed so many of them.
You are never alone and never will be. May Jesus hold you in the Hollow of His Hand today and for the rest of your days.If I had the money I would come and be by your side and hold your hand.
Thinking of you,
Praying for you.

Farrah,
A co-worker's wife is suffering from Stage IV colon cancer which has spread to her liver. She watched your story on TV, and although she cried through most of it, she gained strength and hope to carry on. She has two little boys 5 and 1 year old and she herself is only 32. She is praying for you, as many are. Know you are not alone in your battle and that God is good.
