Paris Hilton has bought a designer wig in a bid to fool her fans.

The socialite - who was in London recently with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt - tried to hide from the British public by splashing out on an expensive disguise from a prestigious UK department store.

She said: "We shopped at Harrods. I had to buy a wig in the salon there to disguise myself. But it didn't work - as usual."

The 28-year-old star didn't let the incident hinder her European visit and has revealed she loves travelling with Doug.

She said: "It was so romantic to be in London for the first time together. We both love to travel, so it's great with the business we do that we can go all over the world together."

While on their trip to London, Paris - who has been dating 'The Hills' star since February - explained the 23-year-old hunk is perfect for her because he can keep up with her globetrotting lifestyle.

She said: "It takes a lot to keep up with me and he's just about managing!

"We are going to get married one day so he'll need to keep up with me. I'm super happy right now. He's amazing. I really want the whole romantic thing."
