Filmmaker and smallscreen producer Tyler Perry has a stalker.
The writer and director of "The Diary of a Mad Black Woman" obtained a restraining order against Dawne Wilson, who was arrested for aggravated stalking Wednesday outside Perry's production studios in Atlanta.
TMZ.com claims the stalker had made appearances there before.
A native of New Orleans, Perry has made his fortune playing outside of Hollywood, and catering to predominately African-American audiences, initially with a traveling theatrical company, then later establishing himself as the top player in "Hollywood East," his home of Atlanta, Georgia where his production company is based, and where Perry now resides.
Allegations are that Wilson began her campaign of terror in March, 2008, contacting Perry by computer "in a menacing manner," causing Perry to fear "apprehension of immediately receiving a violent injury."
TMZ further claims Wilson sent an e-mail saying "You need to check your heart condition because it is filled with murder....your love has been but costly and deadly....Murder I say is the verdict."
Wilson rambled on, "Why do you insist on assisting the devil?"
The website reports that Wilson was arrested after showing up at Perry's recording studio last Wednesday, in violation of Perry's restraining restraining order against her.
