Amy Winehouse threatened to "beat" her estranged husband after discovering he is to become a father.

The 'Rehab' singer was devastated to learn Blake Fielder-Civil - who has filed for divorce, claiming Amy was unfaithful - is reportedly expecting a child with a woman he met in rehab, and refused to listen to the details of the pregnancy.

Amy said: "That better be a mistake or I'll beat his head in. Oh great, he's had it with some... I don't want to know - don't tell me any more."

The 25-year-old singer - who is currently on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia where she is hoping to buy a house - was told the news on Friday (17.04.09), after she was released from hospital after collapsing during a three-day alcohol binge.

The troubled star shocked onlookers with her bizarre reaction, which saw her initially think Blake was having a child with his current girlfriend Francesca Morralee, 17.

Amy said: "I knew he'd got her pregnant. I had this feeling Blake was having a kid. That is amazing. Blake's got a new life away from me now, it's not anything to do with me!

"I'm so glad he's having a baby! He's having a baby! I'm not sad you know, I'm excited."

Amy burst into tears upon discovering Blake has actually got Gilleen Morris, 31, pregnant, and proceeded to give a confused rant about her relationship with Blake

Britain's News of the World newspaper reports she said: "All I want to know, and all I need to know, is that my baby is having a baby. I never talk to him, I'm never going to see him again but we're like best friends.

"I love him enough to let him go. I see myself as single now. But you know what? I would never have divorced him.

"Me and Blake love each other but Blake can't have me. I couldn't give Blake a whole wife because everyone knows me and everyone wants a piece of me so I have to share myself about."

It has been claimed Blake got Gillian pregnant when they were patients at the Phoenix Futures Rehab Centre in Sheffield, north England, in February.
