The Australian singer-and-actress had big ambitions as a child and told her parents she was planning to juggle two different careers.
She said: "My mum said I told her I wanted to be a hairdresser during the week and a star on the weekend and that was when I was really young. So, yeah, there was a really strong sense of purpose about what I wanted to do."
Natalie, who says she was a "born" entertainer, began dancing at the age of three and soon began taking performance classes six days a week.
The 34-year-old brunette beauty always knew she would be famous when she was older, adding: "I don't remember not knowing what I wanted to do."
The 'Torn' singer also admits her desire to succeed sometimes has unpleasant consequences and her temper can become uncontrollable.
Natalie said: "Hmmm. Yes, it's... intense. When I'm passionate about something, I just get excited."
