LeAnn Rimes thinks people are "fascinated" with her.
The singer-and-actress - who was rumored to have cheated on husband Dean Sheremet with 'Lifetime' co-star Eddie Cibrian -occasionally thinks about quitting because of the scrutiny her personal life attracts.
Asked if she wishes she had another career, she told US TV show 'Today': "Yes. I've grown up in the press my whole life. I think people are fascinated with my personal life."
However, LeAnn - who has penned a new book, 'What I Cannot Change' - insists she would never step out of the limelight because she feels she makes an impact on people's lives.
She added: "I love what I do. I'm passionate about what I do. I get to write books like this and write songs like this and affect people's lives. And I think through the song 'What I Cannot Change' having touched so many people, that's what I believe I'm here to do. And it's such a blessing."
LeAnn shot to fame in 1995 aged 13 and admits growing up in the public eye has been difficult.
She said: "Its been tough to make that transition from child star to an adult, but I've been one of the very few, very small percentage that has and I've been very blessed that I have great fans that follow and support me."
