Spector may face 15 years for murder and at least 3 for gun enhancement according to CNN.
The charges of second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of actress Lana Clarkson in his Alhambra mansion six years ago mean Spector, because of his age, may never come out of jail alive.
Spector will be sentenced May 29.
A Los Angeles County Superior Court jury concluded after nine days that Spector, 69, killed Clarkson, a 40-year-old blond actress working as a House of Blues hostess, on the night of Feb. 3, 2003.
As the court clerk read the verdict, Spector reportedly showed little to no emotion as his younger wife, Rachelle, wept in the front row of the courtroom.
Judge Larry Paul Fidler ordered that Spector be taken into custody immediately.
Spector's defense claimed that Clarkson killed herself. His attorney claimed it was her depression combined with alcohol over a failed acting career as the cause.
The first trial in 2007 ended when the jury deadlocked 10 to 2 in favor of conviction.
