Ailing actress Farrah Fawcett, who is battling cancer and undergoing treatment, is further saddled by the behavior of her son Redmond O'Neal, who cannot steer clear of the law.
CNN reported that Redmond, 24, was arrested again for drugs, violating his probation. He remains in custody and is being held without bail. A Los Angeles judge ruled Friday that O'Neal faces up to three years in state prison, the L.A. County District Attorney's office confirms. Sentencing is set for April 17.
"Mr. O'Neal was recently discharged from a residential treatment facility after testing positive for meth and because traces of heroin were found in his room," DA spokeswoman Jane Robison says.
O'Neal is the son of Fawcett and Oscar-nominated actor Ryan O'Neal.
Redmond is a drug addict who recently was arrested last weekend for allegedly bringing heroin into a jail parking lot. This happened while he was on probation from a DUI and drug possession case last June.

Hello
I just wanted to say that my heart is with you Farrah. Beinging a fan, I am greatly saddened that you are fighting such a battle. My mom died in 1971 of cancer when I was 9yrs old. She allowed herself to be used in the beginning of chemo and lived 18months. I see that you are on your 2 yr mark because of chemo so I am thankful my moms experiance has helped. We have found a lump in my leag and hope it will beok. I know in a normal world life will move on, but my fear is there. Your strenght just reminds me of my moms. God bless you, and I know he will.

He's doing a great injustice to his mother as it's been documented that stress worsens the condition.
