Wonder if the affair was worth it? No one ever gets away with it, but that doesn't keep brainless people from trying.

Bruce Springsteen does not deny the allegations that he has had an affair.
He has only made a statement concerning his marriage. Unfortunately, the absence of
a straight forward 'denial' points to the almost obvious certainty of the truth of the allegation.

While none of us are the appointed 'judges' of our fellow man, it is difficult not to
feel compassion for the children of both parties and a deepening lack of respect for
a man who will not claim responsibility for his actions.

Those of us who have known Bruce over the years, have seen him not only as a great
artist but also, as just another person on this planet with complexities of character
that most of us possess. The fact that his 'laundry' is always visible to the word is both
unfortunate and unavoidable; it comes with the Job description of 'star'.
So--it remains impossible for him to entertain the idea that he can be unfaithful and not
found out. That raises the more disturbing question:
Why would he create such painful situations for his family by his making such poor choices?

I, for one, have have great difficulty understanding his repeated behavor of
infidelity and his lack of owning his own actions. If your marriage is not working--leave it!

Too bad. I almost thought the star and the man were one and the same.
THe integrity of Bruce's music has always been unquestionable. The integrity of the man
seems to be another matter entirely.

The children always suffer the most! Is sex such a driving force in so many people's lives, that they can't use their brains???

Who wouldn't have one with him, cute, money, a stud, no drugs, travels. He is a tough man and who can blame him, he rushed into a marriage to Patty and she is just not for him, too tall, not pretty, sings well for back up, but may he find what he truly wants third time is a charm.
