Lohan’s dad to the rescue? The contentious dissolution of Samantha and LiLo

Reacting to Lindsay Lohan’s split from DJ Samantha Ronson, Lohan’s dad Michael says, “Breakups are never pretty and they’re never easy. I’m here for Lindsay any time. I’ve cleared my schedule to go meet her in L.A. I hope Dina takes good care of her in the meantime. At a time like this she needs someone standing by her side. Lindsay Lohan's ex felon father Michael Lohan has sprung up once again in the media, effusive that his daughter is no longer romantically linked with Samantha Ronson.

“I’ve cleared my schedule to go meet her in L.A….It’s about time she had both parents with her,” Michael Lohan tells Extra.

Reacting to Lindsay Lohan’s split from DJ Samantha Ronson, Lohan’s dad Michael says, “Breakups are never pretty and they’re never easy.  I’m here for Lindsay any time.  I’ve cleared my schedule to go meet her in L.A.  I hope Dina takes good care of her in the meantime.  At a time like this she needs someone standing by her side.  It’s about time she had both parents with her, without Dina driving a wedge between us.  It’s time for Lindsay to resurrect her life and career.”

After twittering her anger and personal thoughts over her alleged "Cheater" lover Samantha, Lindsay Lohan is now publicly showing restraint.

Ronson's family is pursuing a restraining order against Lohan, as the DJ's mother, Ann Dexter-Jones, and twin sister, designer Charlotte Ronson, went to the Beverly Hills Police Department to look into filing the order against Lohan, according to Us Weekly.

"She does these things to get attention," Charlotte allegedly said, reports tabloid OK! magazine. "She was trying to get into my party this weekend. We had to tell security to keep her out. Then she booked a room at the Chateau Marmont. Her room was right below. ... She also followed our brother Mark around."

"[Lindsay] was doing drugs," Ronson's mother allegedly said of the party incident. "And we could not sleep that night at the Chateau. She was complaining about the music and noise coming from upstairs. She was trying to get attention so that Sam could come down."

Ronson's mother allegedly condemns Lohan as a "cutter" too.
