The \'Angels\' singer decided to get the unusual molluscs for actress Ayda Field after discovering the slippery creatures munch on body hair, exfoliate skin and their natural slime has moisturising qualities.
Robbie Williams has given his girlfriend a bizarre beauty treatment - hair-eating slugs.
The 'Angels' singer decided to get the unusual molluscs for actress Ayda Field after discovering the slippery creatures munch on body hair, exfoliate skin and their natural slime has moisturising qualities.
A source said: "Being a desperately thoughtful boyfriend, Robbie tracked some down."
The 29-year-old actress - who has starred in US TV shows 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip' and 'Back to You' - was apparently thrilled with his strange gift.
The source added: "She was touched."
Robbie - who is believed to be on the brink of rejoining his former band Take That - has also revealed Ayda has no problem with moving to the UK.
The 35-year-old pop star - who has bought a £7 million Wiltshire mansion - said: "Ayda is very happy in the UK. We'd be happy in a barrel up a pole in Baghdad."
It had been reported Ayda was reluctant to leave Los Angeles because she wanted to focus on her career.
A source previously said: "She has been working hard for years to get this stage of her career. She isn't just going to sit in a house in the English countryside."
