Robert Pattinson required medical help after a metal sign smashed into his head on a film set.
The British actor was reportedly left dazed and bruised when the advertising sign knocked him over during shooting of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' in Vancouver, Canada.
A source told National Enquirer magazine: "Robert had just started shooting a scene when a gust of violent wind tore a heavy metal sign from a post. It shot across location so fast no one even managed to shout a warning at Robert. It hit him on the head and he dropped to the ground lying deadly still. Cast and crew ran to help."
Worried crew members placed ice packs on Robert's head to prevent any swelling. Although the 22-year-old hunk soon came around and insisted he was OK, movie bosses were too concerned to continue the day's shooting.
The source added: "Robert finally came around. The crew put ice on the knot-sized lump on his head and by the time medics arrived he was coherent. But director Chris Weitz still cancelled filming and ordered Robert to return to his hotel. He came back to set the next day, but was still sporting a lump."

Bhahahahahaha!!! Talk about being behind on your news! This has already been reported, disputed, and debunked. Pattinson hasn't even filmed any scenes for the movie yet, and therefore hasn't been on set to get struck in the head with a rogue sign.
Next thing we know, you'll be reporting that Madonna has filed for divorce.
that is so confusing did he hurt himself or not. Well all i am going to say that i hope it is not true.

Thanks for the update about RP not having gotten--but please include your reference to validate your update. Thanks. I truely hope he was not hurt and that it was false, giving Natasha's R tragic death, if it were true, I would think they would send him to the hospital.

Yah, I'm really surprised this was published - this rumor surfaced originally early this week, last week and was immediately proven false by his agent the same day. Some people have nothing better to do than to make up false rumors. But, I suppose, any kind of publicity is better than NO publicity ;)

I am soo pi**** its not even funny. I just read a LifeStyle magazine with an article about how the cast and crew are putting out rumors (hence this one) about Rob and also how Kristen is not hanging out with him anymore bc shes hangin w/taylor (grr)and how hes just going through a ruff time. I think everyone should give the poor guy a break.

This article is not true. It has already been proven false, per Rob himself in an interview. This is really irresponsible to republish it when it's already been publicized as false.
