The commercial is pure food porn at its finest.
Padma languorously strolls through food markets and then to her stoop, as she unwraps her burger, hiking up her skirt as she attacks the big hunk of meat from every conceivable angle.
A blop of sauce lands on her legs, and she licks it off, while extolling the culinary delights of the fast-food treat.
Guilty past food pleasures are recounted: "It reminds me of being in high school," making sure to hide the evidence of the calorific meal.
Lakshmi has penned several cookbooks, and was once married to author Salman Rushdie.
