Kate Moss had her ear pierced five times yesterday (24.03.09).
The British supermodel splashed out £90 to add the five holes to the piercing she already had and was seen sporting new earrings straight away.
A source said: "Kate spent around £90 on piercings. She's picked a very tricky part of the body because the cartilage on the side of the ear takes up to a year to heal."
Kate, 35, is not the first celebrity to have multiple piercings on her body.
Christina Aguilera has previously had her nose and lip pierced, Mel B had jewellery in her tongue and eyebrow, while Fergie also has many piercings on each ear.
Meanwhile, Kate's ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty has revealed he misses her and wants to have a fight with her current lover Jamie Hince.
The troubled singer said: "I wanted to see Lily Allen play the other week but her label got in touch and said, 'We don't want you there because Kate Moss will be there and it will take the attention away from Lily.'
"I was so insulted. Then I'd probably have head-butted her new boyfriend, put her over my shoulder and run off. I miss her."
