Natasha Richardson was buried in New York yesterday (22.03.09).
The British actress - who died of severe brain trauma after a skiing accident in Canada last week - was laid to rest at 2.30pm at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Millbrook, where she married Liam Neeson in 1994.
Liam and six other pallbearers carried Natasha's coffin into the church, while the couple's sons Micheal, 13, and Daniel, 12, Natasha's mother Vanessa Redgrave and her sister Joely Richardson looked on.
After an emotional hour-long ceremony, the family drove to a nearby cemetery - close to the home the pair shared - where the burial took place.
Natasha was laid to rest just metres from her grandmother Rachel Redgrave and after the burial, Liam and Vanessa paid respects at Rachel's grave.
Uma Thurman, Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman and Mia Farrow also attended the service.
Other friends, including Diana Sawyer and Matthew Modine, paid their respects at a private wake at the American Irish Historical Society in New York City on Friday (20.03.09).
