Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are house hunting in Los Angeles.
The 'Hero' singer - who married the actor-and-rapper following a whirlwind romance last year - is currently living in New York, but the couple are said to be keen on a move to the West Coast to further their careers.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "She and Nick Cannon are looking for houses in Santa Monica. They want to move to Los Angeles permanently. She wants to act more and she has to be on the West Coast to do that. And well, then, he's got his career. Whatever that is."
It was recently claimed Mariah and Nick had been visiting a Beverly Hills' Southern California Reproductive Center, where they reportedly met with a prenatal specialist.
A source said: "Nick and Mariah are trying anything and everything to conceive. After almost a year of trying to natural way, they visited a fertility clinic to help make their baby dream come true."
Mariah is said to be desperate to give birth before she turns 40 next March.
The renowned centre is one of the leading in vitro fertilisation (IVF) clinics in California.
