Lindsay Lohan is no longer wanted by police.
The 'Mean Girls' star's arrest warrant was removed yesterday (16.03.09) after her lawyer proved the actress had not breached her probation stemming from her 2007 conviction for driving under the influence.
Lindsay was not present at the hearing.
Judge Marsha Revel said: "The warrant is quashed and set aside. I've seen additional proof that Lohan has been compliant with her programme. There is no indication of dirty drug tests."
Beverly Hills court issued a $50,000 warrant for the 22-year-old star's arrest on Friday (13.03.09) after she missed three mandatory alcohol counseling sessions.
But her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley said the charges were "born out of a misunderstanding". She said Lindsay had left the alcohol programme for another due to a "personality conflict" but the court had not received the new information.
Holley said: "This was all much to do about nothing. Lindsay has satisfied all the conditions of her probation, and I have every expectation that she'll successfully complete those terms.
"She's satisfied all her conditions of probation and will continue to do so. It's difficult to be the subject of negative speculation, especially when she knew she's done everything right."
The court ordered Lindsay to show new proof of enrolment in alcohol education classes by April 3.
Hours later, Lindsay was seen enrolling in the course at a rehab facility in Glendale, California.
But Lindsay's father Michael Lohan claims his daughter needs a "long-term" spell to get clean.
He said: "Rehab is the best thing for her - a long-term rehab."
Michael also criticised Lindsay's girlfriend Samantha Ronson, claiming their relationship is at the root of Lindsay's problems.
Referring to Lindsay's three previous stints in rehab, Michael said: "She needs new friends and a new life. Like we thought she would do after Cirque. Samantha is toxic, their relationship is toxic.
"If she really loves her, she'd let Lindsay go. She's got the wrong people around. Her assistant doesn't work for her anymore. Her managers and business people don't care about her unless she's working and no one will touch her right now."
