Sheridan made a point of noting this at the last summertime TCA's press event for Desperate Housewives.Sheridan said to assembled TV critics "Marc (Cherry) tries to kill Edie every year." While showrunner Cherry quickly dismissed the idea: "She's like a bad boomerang; she just keeps coming back.According to ABC, Edie's latest impending departure to air in April -- is for good.Entertainment Weekly claims that a DH show insider says "never say never" when it comes to Cherry's twist-filled scripts, “This is a world of flash-forwards and flashbacks. There’s always a chance we’ll see Edie again.”
