The cancer stricken star is today (11.03.09) hoping to be allowed home from the Royal Marsden Hospital in London to spend her final days surrounded by her family.
In her poignant final interview Jade - who is believed to only have days left to live - told how she hopes to be remembered and said she wants a public funeral.
Jade, 27, told Britain's OK! magazine: "I want to be remembered for being the mouthy bird of the TV. The one who irritated and entertained in equal measure. But I also want to be remembered as the girl who put up a fight and would never let herself get beaten down.
"I was given a death sentence but I wouldn't let it kill me. I fought it, got married, got christened. I'm happy.
"I've achieved more in my 27 years than some achieve in a lifetime. I can look back on my life and be proud of what I've done."
Jade also revealed she hopes to have a public funeral to allow well wishers to be able to pay their respects.
She said: "I have had so many kind messages over the past few weeks and if people wants to say their goodbyes to me then I would be happy for them to pay their respects."
Jade now hopes to be able to spend as much time at home as possible with her sons Bobby, five and Freddie, four and husband Jack Tweed before she dies.
Her spokesperson, Max Clifford, said yesterday (10.0.3.09): "She will be coming home tomorrow ? but only if nurses are able to keep her pain at bay."
