The 'Let It Go' singer, who reached the milestone age in January, admits his latest birthday has forced him to reassess everything about his life.
He said: "You look back and go, 'What am I doing with my life?', that kind of thing, 'Do I like myself? Do I like my friends?' I was ticking boxes, thinking, 'Oh yes! I'm happy with this. I still look OK. I kind of like my friends, I kind of like myself, I think I have done OK.'
"But since then, there have been repercussions. Maybe I am having more of a problem with being 30 than I realise!"
Will - who spent his birthday at an awards ceremony and "rubbed his face in Tracy Emin's boobs" - is unhappy to be single at 30 and admits he is desperate to find love again.
He added Britain's The Times newspaper: "I had a moment of thinking, 'Should I be in a relationship?' I was like, 'It's OK, because you are gay, so you don't mind so much about kids.' I thought, 'It's fine!' And then I had a bit of a moment. Maybe it is not fine.
"There are three people I have been in love with. I take it very seriously. I think I quite enjoy the melancholy of heartbreak."
Will - who achieved stardom after winning British TV talent show 'Pop Idol' in 2002 - is already making plans for what he wants to have achieved by the time he turns 40, and is keen to have settled down by then.
He explained: "I would like to be in a relationship. I would like to have done lots of wonderful things and seen lots of places. And managed to get my voice to where I am happy with it on an album!"
