"I eat more than anyone I know," says Helena Christensen in an interview with InStyle U.K. . "I'm obsessed! [Food] takes up about 75 percent of my brain. I eat like a pig."
But age does catch up with everyone, and despite her calorific indulgences, Christensen, has hit the big 4-0 and now has to actually work out to maintain the calorie intake-burn ratio.
"I'm super lucky with my metabolism," Helena shared with InStyle U.K. - April issue. She adds, "I have to be realistic – that might not always be the situation. That's why I chose really intense training."
Helena is in a good space mentally about becoming middle-aged: "Age in itself doesn't freak me out," she tells the magazine. "I'm in better shape than I was at 25 because I'm actually doing something physical."
The model single mum of a nine-year old son is not in any hurry to marry unless he is "the one," and then even more children are a possibility for the Danish born, half Peruvian beauty born on Christmas day.
"I've never lived with any [man] except my son," she tells InStyle UK. "I'm used to my own place, my own things. But if I met the right person, I'm sure I'd be like, 'Move in tomorrow, put your things everywhere.' "
