Pop star Rihanna is not listening to Donald Trump. The media and real estate mogul admonished the Barbados beauty to "get the hell away" from her battering beau Chris Brown this past week.
Now People.com claims that P. Diddy's Miami Beach Star Island crib was where an alleged reunion occurred for the battered singer and her boyfriend.
In her first statement since allegedly being assaulted by boyfriend R&B singer Chris Brown, Rihanna reassures fans that she is staying "strong" and "appreciates the outpouring of support."
"At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown," says the statement from her rep to People. "She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.
Brown issued a statement Feb. 15 saying he was "sorry and saddened" about the incident and was seeking counseling.
"They're together again. They care for each other," an unidentified source now claims, according to People.com.
"While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves," the same source said.
The ice breaker was reportedly Brown's relentless gift giving and reaching out to call Rihanna last week to wish her a happy 21st birthday.
Rihanna allegedly responded in kind.
"It doesn't matter what he buys her, though," said the People source. "She loves him. For his part, he knows he screwed up and he is going to try like hell to make sure it doesn't happen again."
Even Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, told Us Weekly he's "OK" with them getting back together. "I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I'm behind her win or lose. I will be supportive."
