Jade Goody was left bed-ridden and too ill to visit hospital yesterday (26.02.09).

The former 'Big Brother' star was forced to cancel an appointment with cancer specialists yesterday as her wedding to Jack Tweed on Sunday (22.02.09) has left her in so much pain.

A source said: "She knew this was going to happen and that she would be this tired and ill. It was the price she was always going to pay for putting so much into Sunday's ceremony.

"She feels terrible but wouldn't change a thing. She is still on a high and thrilled with the memories of her wedding. It was such a perfect day, she is more than happy to suffer for it now. We're just hoping she'll bounce back."

Doctors visited the star who has been told her cervical cancer is terminal - at home after she was too weak to go to hospital. A hospital bed has been moved into the dining room of her Essex house so she can receive regular doses of morphine.

The 27-year-old's publicist Max Clifford said: "The doctors came to her and made sure everything possible was being done to keep on top of the pain. I am sure she will recover, Jade being Jade.

"She showed how resilient she was at her wedding and she'll do the same again. She just needs a few days' rest and I'm sure she'll be better by the end of the week."

Meanwhile Jade's 21-year-old husband Jack met with probation officials yesterday to beg for them to lift his curfew until Jade ? who may only have weeks to live - dies.

Jack ? who currently has to be at his mother's house from 7pm to 7am every day as part of his early release from an 18-month prison sentence for assaulting a teenager with a golf club ? is currently awaiting their decision.

He said: "Hopefully they will relax the tag to let me be with Jade. She's my wife and she needs me by her side."

Currently Jack has to leave his wife's bedside every to his mum Mary's house 20-minutes away.

The terms of Jack's curfew were relaxed by Justice Secretary Jack Straw for their wedding day, but friends of the reality TV star say not being able to spend every evening with her husband is leaving her "tearful".

One friend said: "Not having her husband with her is causing added upset to Jade. She becomes tearful when it starts getting close to the time when Jack has to leave.

"He said he will break the curfew if she starts slipping away ? but she doesn't want him to end up back in prison."

Jade, who has two sons, Bobby, five and Freddie, four with former boyfriend Jeff Brazier, hoped to spend this week planning her sons' christenings but has had to ask her mum Jackiey to take over the arrangements.

Jade and Jack's wedding will be shown as a two-part special on TV channel Living. 'Jade: Bride to Be' will premiere on March 11 at 9.00pm and 'Jade's Wedding', showing the big day in full will be broadcast on March 12 at the same time.
