Rihanna needs a boyfriend intervention

Some women can't see the forest for the trees when it comes to men. 

On paper these ladies have it all: beauty, money and brains, but they keep making the tragic mistake of picking the wrong guy.  It seems that pop star Rihanna is one of those who chooses poorly.

The Barbados beauty is gracing nearly every checkout stand tabloid that heralds the notion she will forgive and forget this recent battering, allegedly at the hands of singer Chris Brown, over an allegedly poorly timed booty text on Grammy night. 

This past weekend it was reported that Rihanna rung in her 21st birthday with close friends and some are saying her inner circle leaked to the Daily News and other news sources that she may be taking Brown's call.

“Chris called Rihanna to wish her a happy birthday,” an unnamed source tells the Daily News. “He’s absolutely trying to get back into her good graces. He knows he’s very much in the doghouse right now, and is doing everything he can to show her how sorry he is.”

TMZ.com got their World Wide Web hands on the photo of Rihanna (authenticated by the LAPD) which has sparked some real outrage among their peers, including Ne-Yo who tells MTV: "I wanted to talk to them before I made a comment," he said about the much-publicized incident that occurred several hours before the Grammy Awards on February 8. Brown turned himself in to police during the awards show and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and released. "I spoke to Rihanna. She says she's fine. She didn't go into detail about what happened. I understand it's a painful situation; I didn't push."

But Brown is said to be wooing Rihanna with bling and sundries. The Daily News claims he sent over a diamond bracelet and necklace, an iPod Touch. Even a bouquet of flowers from Brown's mom was delivered too.

The Daily Mail snitches claim Rihanna is "healing nicely" and is in "good spirits."
