Jade Goody says her wedding today will be the "happiest" moment of her life.

The 'Big Brother' star, who is dying of cancer and has just weeks to live, is tying the knot with boyfriend Jack Tweed in a lavish £300,000 ceremony.

The 27-year-old, who will be wearing a £3,500 wedding gown by designer Manuel Mota, told Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper: "This is going to be the happiest day of my life. I can't believe I'm going to be a wife. It's scary."

The couple practiced their vows at an emotional wedding rehearsal yesterday at the venue - Hertfordshire's Down Hall Country House Hotel - where an exhausted Jade struggled to make it down the isle to Jack.

A friend of the couple's said: "Jack held her as they exchanged their vows. Jade was in tears as she said 'I do', even though it was only a rehearsal. They deliberately left out the line 'till death do us part' - almost in defiance of her illness.

"She and Jack then went outside and sealed it with a passionate kiss. He said he felt very proud to be by her side."

The ceremony, which will be filmed by Living TV, includes a wedding feast of crab, lobster and 100 bottles of pink champagne donated by Embassy Nightclub boss Mark Fuller, and a performance by British girlband the Sugababes.

The will also be a team of medics and a helicopter on standby in case the reality TV star - who is on constant medication for the pain - needs urgent treatment.

Jade, who has two sons - Bobby, five and Freddy, four - with her former partner, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, tearfully told friends at her small-scale hen night on Friday (20.02.09): "It's weird to think this is going to be one of the last times we're all going to be happy together."
