Chris Brown's childhood abuse trauma may be the cause for the behavior he now has.
Only 19-years-old, R&B sensation Chris Brown and his girlfriend, singer Rihanna, had been spotted together at a pre-Grammy event in the Beverly Hills Hilton.
Shortly after, the Los Angeles Police Department says after an argument in a car, a "woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."
Rihanna was that victim.
Chris Brown has been booked on a felony criminal threats charge. If the D.A. files charges in the case, domestic violence charges could be added.
Momlogic.com reports that in 2007, Brown told Giant magazine he has a history with domestic abuse -- his stepfather abused his mother for years.
In the article, Brown recalls telling his mother at the age of 11, that some day, he would go to jail by age 15 for killing his abusive stepfather. "I just want you to know that I love you," he told her. "But I'm gonna take a baseball bat one day while you at work, and I'm gonna kill him."
The story took a bizarre and gruesome turn when he says his stepfather attempted suicide, shot himself in the head and missed his brain, sending the shot straight through his eyes. He survived the suicide attempt but was permanently blinded.
"When you're blind, your senses are heightened, like your smell, hearing, your sense of touch," Brown explains. "You can move and maneuver around your sight. But he used to hit my mom ... He made me terrified all the time, terrified like I had to pee on myself. I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I was crying and thinking, 'I'm just gonna go crazy on him one day...' I hate him to this day."

Abuse is NEVER an excuse for YOUR behavior. You're the only one responsible for what you do, blaming others is just sick and wrong. If he was so miserable as a child because of the abuse, dontcha think he wouldn't want others so suffer through it as well? Well, if he were a decent person that is. Kinda shows you what he truly is deep down inside.
I dont think Chris Brown will change. He is not truly remoseful. If Rihanna had an common sense she would leave him alone. I have a young daughter who cried intensely when she found out about Rihanna. I dont want her to grow up thinking its ok for a man to beat her. Rihanna needs help and to drop all contact with Chris. The next time he beat her he will Kill her. What a shame.
I don't really know if Chris had attacked that woman. She just jealous because he cheating on her with me.SORRY RIHANNA!!THIS CHICK GOT YO MAN!!
Hey y'all I'm Rihanna's biggest fan and i don't really know what happend between those two love birds but i'm so sad for Rihanna and she shouldn't have to be abused by a man that probably don't ee=ven love her.I'm sick of this! Why did her dumb ass go back to him?!SHE SO GOD DAMN STUPID!!
i do think that in his past life the thing with his step-father does have a impack on his life now. the reason why i say this is because the same thing happened to me as a yung child living in a very abusive home. thats why till this day i treat men the way i treat them. so chris does have his reasons and everyone does.
Abuse is never right...
cris brown grew up watching violents involving his mum...
But does not excuse what he did too his ex Girl... how could he?
it takes years too build up love and trust and only second's too destroy.

i do think the abuuse from his step-father is the reason this event happened, but i still do not think it is right about hitting a gil.his step-ftaher should be ashamed of how he has treated chris brown and his family and now look what happens he beats his girl friends ass.
