The 15-month-long bitter legal battle between the pair has finally been resolved - after the 'Shrek' star agreed to pay Spice Girl Mel £35,000 a month until their daughter Iris Angel turns 18.
A source told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "Mel is delighted that the case is over as she just wanted what was right for her girl. It was never about money - it was Mel's way of asking Eddie to show consideration for Angel."
It has been reported that couple have both signed non-disclosure contracts preventing them from discussing the terms of the settlement in public, but Mel, 33, is said to be delighted that this has come to an end.
It was recently reported that Eddie, 47, doesn't visit his 22-month-old daughter because he wants to stay away from "crazy" Mel B.
A friend of the Hollywood actor's told America's OK! magazine: "To see the kid, he'd have to see the mother. Maybe when she's older, Eddie will see Angel, but not now.
"Mel is a crazy woman. Eddie wants to stay far away from her."
Eddie - who has five other children with his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell, and two from a previous relationship - dumped Mel on a Dutch TV show while she was pregnant with Angel, and then questioned the paternity of his baby, before a DNA test later proved he was the father.
