Drew Barrymore mends her broken heart by eating cheese.
The 'He's Just That Not Into You' actress, who has been married twice, can't help indulging in processed dairy products when her love life is floundering.
When asked what she does after a romance ends, Drew replied: "Head straight for the carbs. Macaroni and cheese. Kraft. Deluxe. The kind with the cheese you squeeze out of a bag that takes at least a month to pass through your body."
Drew also revealed she expects her friends to be brutally honest with her if they don't like the guy she is dating.
She explained to Marie Claire magazine: "I love it when women call me on my s**t. Like, 'Stop fooling yourself' or, 'He's not coming back' or, 'This behaviour led to that.' I can work from that place. I just can't work from false bulls**t fairy tales."
If a romance isn't working out, the 33-year-old star wants men to be equally as honest about why it failed.
She added: "I hate getting, 'It's not you, it's me,' because I'm never going to learn and grow from that. I don't want to live on lies and smoke and mirrors and horses**t. No way."
Drew was briefly married to Welsh bartender Jeremy Thomas in 1994. She wed comedian Tom Green in 2001, before the marriage ended in 2002.
The blonde actress had a five-year relationship with The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti and has also previously dated actor Justin Long.

ha! i was just remembering today how when i was in middle school like 12 years ago, i read in Seventeen or YM magazine or something like that that Drew Barrymore wouldn't eat mac n cheese b/c it 'coats and clogs your intestines.' i didn't eat mac n cheese for the next five years or so, believing what she said. funny that she brings mac n cheese up again. i guess she just has a thing for the dish...
