Christian Bale is an jerk, I'm not watching his movies anymore. What a childish diva he turned out to be. And what type of man would beat his mother and sister. Creep.
I gave him the benifit of the doubt about the news of the scuffle between him and his mother/sister.
Not any more... to use his own language.. well I guess I can't even use ONE word of his even using *** to blank it out without my post being deleted.
Let's just say I was looking forward to seeing terminator salvation.. but not anymore. I useually don't even care what actors are in a role (good or bad) because the story is king, and as long as the actor fits the role and the story.. that's infinatly more important than weither or not that actor has 'name recongnition'. So I never go see a movie BECAUSE it has a certain actor in it.. this is the first time I'm NOT going to see a movie BECAUSE it has an actor in it.
That's a shame, because I was a big terminator fan and was looking forward to salvation. Now I won't even rent it on DVD.

Yeah he went way overboard. I can kind of see where he is coming from if the guy ruined the shot and now they were going to have to reset everything, but it was a tad much. Maybe he just needed a nice cup of tea.
i'm going to give him a break. i have worked on sets and EVERYONE thinks they are more important than everyone else, so when some DP gets in the way of a scene then he screwed up.
Everyone screws up sometimes, but they don't deserve the triad this no-talent creep spewed off. It was broadcast on TV, so he can't say it wasn't true. Some of these overpaid idiots don't know how good they've got it.

Personally, I've had it with prima donnas. If he has to be that unbalanced to put up a performance, all it shows is what is painfully obvious : the guy has very little talent.
Now I see that Bale is not only a talent-challenged prima donna, but a talent-challenged prima donna who actually threatens people (especially subordinates, it seems) with violence whenever he gets his knickers in a twist.
That, to me, signals a wuss who has no idea what violence really is, who somehow miraculously escaped being taught that very valuable lesson in life. The poor technician stood by while that blivet swore at him up and down and called him all sorts of names. Maybe he has a big family to take care of. I don't. It could be a pleasure to oblige Bale by teaching him that very valuable lesson about violence, but who cares about that pansy anyway...
Better yet, let him make a movie with another asshole in his category, like Russel Crowe, and see how THAT turns out. I think you'll see two bitches who think they're tough guys being very polite and piddling all over themselves, believing in each other's bullshit.
Even funnier! Let Bale pull some amazingly stupid stunt that gets him thrown in the slammer with REAL tough guys! Hah! The kind that never threaten, just do. The kind who are NOT vegetarians and really like blood.
When he'll come out, he'll be all set to become the next Pee Wee Herman.

The DP walked in front of Christian's line of sight in a scene. He wasn't in the shot. Yet Bale has focusing issues. Surprising for a big actor. That is what you'd expect from an amateur - not being able to stay in the scene.
People are moving around while the cameras are rolling. There's never been a production I've been on where people freeze when the camera is rolling unless the actor sucks.
I love the Terminator series and was pumped for Salvation but I am BOYCOTTING this because of a dickhead actor.
Getting pissed is somewhat understandable. Threatening to never work with him is a prick thing to do. Your point was made.

I was an extra on a shoot in a remote location when I saw that people had gathered in a corner of the warehouse. I thought maybe someone was hurt so I went over to see if I could help, and there was Christopher Plummer sitting in a chair and saying his lines right into a camera while all sorts of stuff was going on in his line of sight. I sort of froze. I suppose someone had neglected to holler a warning that they were about to shoot.
Then Mr. Plummer finished, someone said 'Cut!', and he stood up and smiled.
Unlike Bale, Christopher Plummer may not think of himself as a celluloid God but he's a real, talented professional. He's been around a long time, he's made a great career for himself in the movies.
Before you know it, Bale and his chihuahua temperament will be yesterday's news.

Some of these celebrities think they are god. Well, they can be replaced in a heartbeat!
Maybe, we can learn something from this iconic leader of men.
Wouldn't all our homes and workplaces be better if everyone threw raging, out-of-control, temper tantrums when the smallest problem occurs?

I think the assumptions of a most people is flawed from the outset in trying to evaluate this melodrama.... including the good Mr. Bale: First and foremost: 'power' or authority is never taken, it is always given or conceeded. that entire crew, extras, even the director conceeded all power to Mr.Bale: mistake number one! number two: once the jellyfish of a director realized what was going on, he continued to conceed authority to the overpaid actor. mistake three: Bale is still working on the film.
So, is this the true Bale?? Is his smile and dapper manner on the red carpet simply more bad acting? makes you wonder.
Who gives a rat's ass about these big-headed no talents - just boycott their damn movies, etc.
If we had any doubt that 'roid rage is real, Christian Bale, you just set our minds straight.
... so you've been warned.
Now, it might be only me, but whenever I gaze upon Bale's face a very singular and disturbing thought occurs to me. It's always hovering out of reach where I can't grab it, analyze it, and understand it.
And that thought is : That Guy Smells Really Bad!
Stupid, huh? I mean, he doesn't have to worry about any electric bill and probably takes longer, hotter showers than I do.
Is it because of his angry 'I'm exuding male pheromones from each of my pores' look? I'm a guy, so maybe another man's pheromones smell bad to other guys.
Maybe it's in his eyes. No wonder his breakthrough role as an adult was that of a psycho. There's this rage there that, if you're not lucky, you might have seen in the eyes of a homeless addict who's about to mug or kill you for tar.
Whatever else he might be, he certainly is an hyper inflated ego on legs perpetually about to go ballistic. But this explosion won't go BOOM! This explosion will go ME! Furthermore, I think the only time that he's really acting is when he smiles.
Everybody seems to be heaping praise on his acting talent. I just don't see it. To me, he's about as talented as Chia LaBeouf (or whatever his name is): adequate and somewhat ho-hum, lacking depth.
I think he's a sad little man better left alone...
What an idiot! I will never watch another movie (or let my children watch one)that has this cruel, heartless, spoiled devil in disguise in it again. Who made him Gods gift to all of creation to the point that he thinks it's ok to act like this and just blame it on having a bad day!? What a heathen piece of trash he turned out to be. You just never really know a person until they are caught on tape letting loose when they think it's private, lol...he just committed career suicide, I hope it was worth it to him.
I completely understand where bale is coming from. He is not only a great actor, but a perfectionist too! The DP supposedly being a professional also should have known better. Hmm!! 'what would batman do' and he did. Good job batman.
Truly appalling. I will boycott all of his movies. If this incident makes other people as angry as I am, hit em where it hurts. Not only boycott Bale's movies, pirate and distribute them! Bye bye big residuals. I'm a fan of the terminator and batman franchises but and looking forward to watching such an egomaniacal jerk crash and burn. What a shame that a talented and professional actor like Heath Ledger is gone and we're stuck with Bale. He will always be rich but here's hoping that he will always be miserable. He's already alienated his family, soon he'll be left with a lecherous entourage and nothing else.
