Renee Zellweger craves country life.
The 'New in Town' actress, who grew up in rural Texas, loves being outdoors but also feels at home in the city.
She said: "I am both a city girl and a country girl at heart. When I was growing up I was in a really rural community, so that's in my blood and really appeals to me. The city also appealed to me but in a very different way. I feel very comfortable in both those places and I crave both of those environments - but the country is where I came from. If I'm in the city for too long I have to take a road trip."
However, the actress' love of the great outdoors couldn't prepare her for the sub-zero temperatures she faced when filming her latest film 'New in Town'.
Renee recently revealed the cold Canadian conditions on the Winnipeg set were nothing short of "educational".
She said: "It was highly entertaining and very educational. I didn't know cold like that; it was a whole different kind of experience. It was a marvellous exercise in developing new survival skills. It was a whole new language for the biological things that happen."
