Lily Allen's brother "hated" her song Alfie.
The 23-year-old singer revealed her sibling Alfie Allen disliked the song so much it caused a rift between the siblings.
She said: "On the first record I did a song called 'Alfie' and he hated it. I didn't realise, I thought he'd really like it but he was really upset and it took a while for us to work it out, but he's happy now."
With her second album 'It's Not Me, It's You' set for release on February 9, Lily fears her personal lyrics will get her into trouble again.
She said: "I'm stupid. I've made my own bed, I'll lie in it. I just write songs the way I know how to write songs. I don't know how else to do it."
Rather than being put off from writing about family members, Lily's latest LP includes a song about her dad, actor Keith Allen, titled 'He Wasn't There'.
However, the star has her fingers crossed her father is taking the track in good spirit.
She said: "He likes it, I think. I hope so! I didn't actually play it to him, I sent it to his girlfriend's email and she played it to him."
