Chicago rocker and new dad Pete Wentz has stuck up for his sister-in-law Jessica Simpson, who is catching flak for appearing a little fuller-figured at a concert recently.
“I think the media puts too harsh of a spotlight on women in general…It’s a bummer.”
Pete Wentz blasted out about the recent media scrutiny of his sister-in-law Jessica Simpson's new fuller curves to Extra.
The Fall Out Boy comments, “I think that the media puts too harsh of a spotlight on women in general and I think it’s a bummer. It’s bad for young women. I see it affecting young girls who come to our shows and that’s a bummer.”
He continues, “Real beauty is on the inside, man.”
Wentz is in Tampa to perform at Tampa’s NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash.
