Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard while he was still sane told his son
'You know how to get rich... start a religion.' admitting that Scientology is nothing but a fictionally created story.
Scientology is nothing but a corporation that thrives off the ignorance of it's followers by selling them and whoever else books, and courses on how to 'improve' themselves spiritually.
One of their expensive scams is that they will sell you for extremely large
amounts of money a series of books that in the end are supposed to teach you how to walk through walls.... and after spending long hours of self deceptive meditation, a lot of money, and reading you become brainwashed to believe that you can actually walk through walls and when you try to and end up bumping your nose against the wall you are told that you couldn't do it because you're not ready yet however there are more books and courses available that will someday make it possible for you to do so for larger amounts of money butt not really.
Scientology = manipulative corporate scam brainwashing moneybaggers club
Scientologist = manipulated misguided fool
I know someone who got sucked into Scientology, I didn't know he was a Scientologist until one day, about 4 years ago, he said 'Rob here's a book you should read.' He passed me Dianetics by L. Ron Hubbard. I laughed and said 'L. Con Flubbfart ha forget it.' For the first time in the years since I've known the guy he displayed anger and I'm talking very angry!!! Verbally with an agressive face.
After that display he went on to talk about the ability to walk through walls, he hasn't reached that level but he plans on getting there etc...
I've also heard of that course from an ex-Scientologist and neither of them know each other.
Above comment is absolutely correct, scientology is only a religion for the deluded minds that got snared. No country with any ethical standards should ever accept this scam to be recognized as a religion ,unless of course it is willing to accept the religion of the great spaghetti monster too. That means they should pay taxes, heaps of taxes ,like somebody once said:give to the romans ....etc,tc...
It's obvious that Bijou Phillips doesn't know the difference between sadness, depression & clinical depression.
Understandably by her Scientology beliefs; Bijou believes that saunas, niacin overdoses & vegetable oil can cure anything. We shouldn't ridicule this ignorance - we should educate them.
Like angry children, Celebrities ( as they are called in the media) are meant to be seen and not heard. Ms. 'Bijou' can pride herself on status as a DLister along with her bff who hasn't worked since 'That 70's Show.' Perhaps it was all the drugs she did with her dad and mom, oh and her godfather Andy Warhol (tripping by what, age 4) that makes her such an expert.
It's great that she and her bff have far less room to fall as what's left of their careers plummets into the black hole known as . Neither one is or ever will be Tommy Cruise, so I'm guessing this for them constitutes 'good press' as opposed to NONE.
Get a medical license or STFU in the media you stupid . What you say to your friends, nobody gives a damn about and is your constitutional right. Nobody gave you a constitutional right to mouth of potentially harmful bullshit to a media audience. That's a PRIVILEGE that some misguided journalist decided to give you, and hopefully they learned their lesson and never will again.
DIAF you stupid cow.
why o why are we listening to this sad, damaged, and dysfunctional person?
has-been, arrogant shillebrities: GTFO
and take the cult scientology with you
WOW! Do they even realize how grossly arrogant they come across. It just shows you what their 'church' has conditioned them to think. It should show everyone reading this right now that when you join a cult aka/scientology, your connection to reality and compassion for your fellow being completely disappears. And now they will lose the very people who have helped them flourish in their careers. Scieno celebs seem so wiling to destroy their careers just to get the cults message out no matter how bizarre it is. This is how celebs are used as a tool for them. The only thing you can do about it is.... make sure you or anyone you love NEVER becomes one!
If Scientologists are so against medications, why did L. Ron Hubbard die a Howard Hughes hermit with black teeth, long, dirty, matted hair, fingernails so long they curled under, and a body loaded with Vistaril? Please explain that one to me? See page 107-108 in Andrew Morton’s wonderful and truthful book about Hubbard and his cult….
“As the movement went into meltdown, Hubbard was in hiding, on the run from law for fraud and tax evasion. Those who glimpsed this shadowy character, then living under an assumed name in a remote ranch in Crestor, California, recall that he cut an incoherent, unkempt figure reminiscent of the eccentric billionaire, Howard Hughes. His teeth were black, his lank, shoulder-length hair dirty and matted, his nails long, gnarled, and curling-hardly an endorsement for the lifestyle he had spent years promoting. The ULTIMATE IRONY of his BIZARRE LIFE is that when he died in January 1986, shortly after suffering a stroke, his body was full of VISTARIL, a PSYCHIATRIC DRUG used to calm frantic or overanxious patients. Yet this was the same man who had devoted his life to fighting psychiatrists, blaming them for all the world’s ills.”
Hubbard died January 24, 1986 in a 1982 Blue Bird motor home. He had been injected with Vistaril(hydroxyzine hydrochloride) by intramuscular injection in the right buttock by Dr. Gene Denk. Public documents are on record. Located at San Luis Obispo Sheriff Office, Coroners file #8936.
I hope that everyone will spread the message that Scientology is a Dangerous Criminal Cult, and a mind control scheme to get your money.
I'm not a big fan of Scientology critics but why does Scientology say
it's alright to dispose of 2% of the world's population,'quietly and
without sorrow'?
Sometimes there is wisdom hidden inside of ignorance. 'Just get over it' by Scientology thinking it is caused by tiny aliens is one of those cases. The idea that we are incapable of handling depression is equally ignorant. With understanding we can 'get over' our inability to function during depression and have rich and wonderful lives.
There is a website at www.depressionadvantage.com that talks about how to do that with the help of psychiatrists, medication if necessary, but mostly education and your own hard work assisted by your family and other members of your team of support.
Bijou:
Your statement is another expression of Scientology's cold, calculated mindset.
I'm tired of your so-called church's attempts to cover up inconvenient truths like how their Sea Org staff are coerced into abortions, how you 'punish' staff who don't tow the party line by sending them to Scientology's version of Guantanamo (Rehabilitation Project Force), and how you have a long history of trying to shame, browbeat and silence the free press (Time Magazine, BBC, et al.).
I'm sick of your organization pulling tons of money out of Portland--money that our community needs especially in light of likely double-digit unemployment.
I think it's abominable that you support a church who dupes their members into thinking that Scientology is 'the only way'--and to have their credit card, bank account or home equity loan ready.
Despite the wrongs your organization has perpetuated, I'm proud that there's a large number of people out there who have responded in a compassionate, thoughtful and intelligent way. We're waiting for you to realize that you can do better than support criminals like this.
We're never gonna give you up!

There must be 50 ways to leave your Scientology master
You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
and get yourself free
So i gotta ask ,is this her attempt at getting 15 minutes of fame?
This woman has very obviously never experienced true depression. It's not something one can simply 'get over'. Although I bet if you ask anyone suffering from it they will tell you that they wish it was that simple.
It's a long and hard process and sometimes it does involve taking medication. Whilst I agree that medication is often too freely prescribed, there is no reason to say that it is not needed - and certainly no justification for the vitiolic attitude displayed here.
Perhaps she's been reading too much scientology propoganda? Or is still stuck in the past when procedures like labotomy and electro convulsive therapy were still commonplace practices?
Psychiatry is no longer the barbaric field it used to be - now it is about talking about your problems and trying to work them out without medication.
Perhaps she would prefer we all do the purification rundown (yes I've read about that) and become emancipated wastes like Katie Holmes?
Ha! Poor babies. The more you whine and gripe about how 'weird' and how 'evil' the Churches of Scientology are, they still keep getting BIGGER AND BIGGER and MORE AND MORE POPULAR. There's no such thing as bad publicity, so KEEP IT UP, geniuses!
