John Mayer will propose to Jennifer Aniston on her birthday.
The 'Gravity' singer is planning to ask the 'Friends' actress to marry him when she turns 40 on February 11, and has even invested in a custom made engagement ring for her.
A source told America's Star magazine: "Money's no object for John. He didn't want to buy something that anyone else had, so he sketched it and is having it custom-made."
John - who has had an on-off relationship with the brunette beauty since last April - is determined to make the proposal as special as possible and has previously said he would find a "creative" way to pop the question.
He said: "I think I'd be pretty good at proposing. I'd figure that out. I'd get creative."
It was recently reported Jennifer is keen tie the knot as soon as possible, and has her heart set on a lavish Greek wedding.
A source said: "John's finally agreed to marry her - and they're now planning a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding."
The couple split briefly last summer but reunited in October, prompting Jennifer to tell John she wanted to marry.

Her PR company's strategy works around only 2 factors i.e. bottom line is she comes out smelling and looking like a rose: a) at all costs, continue to make her look like a sad victim of the dumper known as brad pitt; and b) continue to attack jolie at all levels (looks, morality, personality, etc) making her the villain and ONLy cause of aniston's sad, pathetic life today. The latter works so well as Jolie herself has realised today - she is constantly being attacked by the fully paid fan bloggers & gutter journos on aniston's payroll. IN SUMMARY, CONTINUE TO CAPITALISE ON THIS CIRCUS AS ANISTON'S WHOLE CAREER NOW RESTS ON IT.

Because of the above, Aniston's fans can never find fault in her even if she spreads her legs in a PG-rated magazine, sleeps with countless men, lie to her fans about the men in her life (deny then later admit relationships), pay others to demonize jolie knowing jolie does not have a pr agency). They honestly believe that she needs to be defended and understood and supported.

Apparently, john mayer will be hosting his own show on CBS so they are drumming up some publicity for him; same way they did for aniston's dog movie. aniston will have to reciprocate and return mayer's kindness to her when she was promoting the dog movie. once again, people are being fooled and once mayer show is up and running, the vicious cycle starts again i.e. the good (aniston of course), the evil (jolie no doubt) and the bad (pitt i suppose). brace yourselves, it's about to happen. the posters/bloggers employed by aniston's PR agency are gonna get busy shortly. sharpen the aniston premium knives, people....
