Lily Allen stopped working with Mark Ronson because she didn't want to sound like Amy Winehouse.
'The Fear' singer axed the award-winning producer, who worked on her debut album 'Alright, Still', because she was worried about comparisons between her and other British female singers.
Dismissing speculation she had rowed with Mark, Lily told MTV UK: "I would definitely work with him again - I just didn't want to do it this time because Mark has a really retro feel to what he is doing."
The 23-year-old singer added: "I wanted to set myself away from Duffy, Adele and Amy Winehouse because they are so brilliant at what they do - it would be silly for me to follow them down that route."
Lily's second album, 'It's Not Me, It's You', will be released on February 9.
