Eva Longoria would love to dress up as a wasp.
The 'Desperate Housewives' star has denied rumours she has been offered a part in the upcoming comic book adaptation 'Avengers' as Wasp, but admits the idea sounds very tempting.
She said: "I would love to do something like that role. I love comic book movies and it might be fun to be a wasp and buzz around in a yellow and black suit."
The star sparked rumours she was set to play the part when she was spotted leaving the Los Angeles offices of Marvel Comics clutching a stack of the books.
Wasp - real name Janet Van Dyne - is a superheroine who is at the centre of the 'Avengers' stories. She has the ability to contract her body to around half an inch or lengthen it to several hundred feet to help her fight crime.
The film - which will also feature characters including The Hulk, Captain America and Iron Man - is due for release in 2011, the same year in which Eva's hit US TV show 'Desperate Housewives' is expected to finish.
