Lady GaGa used to perform in just her underwear.
The 'Just Dance' singer struggled to hold the crowd's attention during her early performances, so resorted to shock tactics in order to get people to listen to her.
She explained: "When I was performing in nightclubs, no one would listen so I took my clothes off.
"I did the whole show in my bra and underwear and then they listened and they cheered."
The ambitious 22-year-old star - who has also penned tracks for Pussycat Dolls and Akon - also revealed she hopes to revolutionise the pop scene with her songs.
She added: "I want to be the person who changes what pop music means for my generation because somebody shot it in the face. I don't know who but I want to bring it back."
