Tori Spelling is "thrilled" to be in final negotiations to star in '90210'.
The 35-year-old actress - who starred as Donna Martin in 'Beverly Hills, 90210', the original version of the hit US teen drama - is close to confirming a deal to appear.
A spokesperson for CW, which broadcasts the series, said: "She's thrilled. Hopefully the deal will close soon."
It is rumoured Tori will appear in the 19th episode of the current series, and her storyline is expected to be finalised this week.
She is set to start shooting at the end of January and the programme is expected to be directed by Jason Priestley, who starred as heartthrob Brandon Walsh in 'Beverly Hills, 90210'.
It was previously reported Tori pulled out of her scheduled appearance on '90210' after learning her former co-stars Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth had been offered more money to reprise their roles.
