Paris Hilton's jewels nicked while heiress parties

The perils of partying with the rich and famous until the wee hours of the morning allows opportunistic thieves to ransack your home. Such was the fate of Paris Hilton.
Her home in Sherman Oaks, California was invaded and cleaned out of an estimated $2 million dollars worth of jewelry.
Reportedly, E! bloggers claim Paris was busy celebrating with new Brittany Flickinger at Electric Karma and then made her appearance at Christina Aguilera's A Clockwork Orange-themed birthday party at Mozza before tooling over to Bar Delux.
"We're just glad everyone is okay," the hotel heiress' mother Kathy Hilton told the New York Daily News.
Police report that Paris' thief was a man "wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves " who busted in the front door of her home on the 3300 block of Clarendon Road in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
"He ransacked her bedroom," said Ben Llewellyn, spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Detectives estimate the burglary occurred between late evening Thursday and 4 a.m. Friday.
