Tom Cruise would "love it" if his two-year-old daughter wanted to become an actress.
The 'Valkyrie' actor insists he would support Suri in anything she chooses to do, especially if she wants to follow in his and her mother Katie Holmes' footsteps.
When asked if he would be OK with Suri going into acting, Tom said: "I'd love it. Acting is a great life, you get to entertain people and create characters and stories."
However, Tom says whatever Suri and his two teenage adopted children - Connor and Isabella, from his relationship with ex-wife Nicole Kidman - do with their lives, they will always have the support of their family.
He is quoted as saying: "My kids have the life that I wanted. I always wanted to travel the world, to be developed by different cultures, learn about their history. So that's how I raised my kids - that they have full exposure to the world and all different kinds of ideas and philosophies so that they can make choices for themselves.
"I support them in whatever choices they want to make. But I do have a thing. If you're going to do it, really do it. Don't be casual about it."
