X Factor winner has Moss on her side

Kate Moss has befriended UK TV talent show winner Alexandra Burke.

The British supermodel is a huge fan of 'The X Factor' - Simon Cowell's pop star searching TV series - and became close to this year's winner Alexandra after taking her six-year-old daughter Lila Grace to watch the live Saturday night shows.

Alexandra said: "I saw Kate in the audience a couple of weeks ago and waved to her. I met her properly last week and we hit it off.

"I am going to her party on Friday (19.12.08). She promised me I could have anything I wanted from her wardrobe. She said I could stay the night then we would go for a pub lunch on Saturday (20.12.08). I can't wait!"

However, Alexandra has vowed not to have too many late nights out with party-loving Kate, as she takes the first steps of her music career.

She added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I like a drink. Why not? Kate is a party girl but it is all good in the hood if you ask me. She won't be leading me astray. She is a good person and we talked for ages."

The 20-year-old singer -whose debut single 'Hallelujah' is on course to become the UK Christmas number one on Sunday (21.12.08) - has also been asking Kate for fashion tips.

She said: "Kate and I talked about the show, her clothing line and things like that. I want to have my own range one day so it was interesting to hear what she had to say.

"I always bought her stuff anyway. The day it came out at Topshop I was at the front of the queue. She was giving me some fashion tips on what to wear.

"She said, 'Always put your heels on and don't say 'yes' to every single item of free clothing.' "

Kate is holding a party at her Cotswolds country home with her rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince at the weekend, where it is rumoured the couple will announce they are having their first child together.
