Ortega / PR PhotosThe 'Spider-Man' star and the filmmaker's relationship blossomed into romance when they worked together on a new documentary about the US presidential election voting system.A source confirmed: "Yes, they're dating."The pair enjoyed a shopping trip together at New York art store Blick recently before they rushed off back to her place, according to an onlooker.Earlier this week, the 26-year-old star - who has previously dated actor Jake Gyllenhaal, Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell and playwright Jeff Smeenge - was successfully awarded a restraining order against a stalker.Christopher Smith - who insists he is in love with Kirsten and that the pair have a "spiritual connection" - had broken into the actress' home five times.Kirsten said: "Given this sudden, aggressive, and harassing behaviour, I am quite frightened of Mr. Smith and feel that my personal safety, and the personal safety of those around me, is in jeopardy."
