Balthazar Getty is back with his wife.

The 'Brothers and Sisters' star ended his controversial relationship with Sienna Miller earlier this month, and has now reunited with Rosetta Millington - his wife of eight years and mother of his four children.

A source close to the 33-year-old actor said: "Rosetta reminded Balthazar of the promises he made on their wedding day eight years ago, and asked him if he really wanted the children to grow up apart from their dad.

"The next day he called Sienna and nervously told her, 'I have to end it, babe.' Sienna was shattered, but she is putting on a brave face."

It has also been claimed Balthazar quickly grew tired of 26-year-old Sienna's love of partying, and realised he had made a mistake dating someone so much younger than himself.

The source added to Britain's Star magazine: "Sienna is only 26 and loves to go out. At first he was excited by her beauty but eventually realised he should be back with his wife, and that Sienna represented a phase from another point in his life."

Although Balthazar is quickly moving on with his life, Sienna has taken the rejection badly following a turbulent 2008 for her love life.

The 'Robin Hood' actress split from Welsh actor Rhys Ifans in June and was then publicly criticised for dating a married man.

Balthazar and Rosetta are allegedly undergoing couples counselling in a bid to get their relationship back on track.
