Liam Gallagher thought Bryan Adams had covered an Oasis song.
US musician Ryan Adams recorded a version of the band's worldwide hit 'Wonderwall' but Liam was initially confused about the identity of the vocalist.
He confessed: "I've never heard his version of 'Wonderwall', but that was the only way I'd heard of the guy, there's some guy called Ryan Adams who's done 'Wonderwall', 'Bryan Adams?' 'No, Ryan Adams'.
Despite his confusion, Liam is now a huge fan of Ryan, and admits he was blown away by Ryan's performances when he supported Oasis on their recent North American tour.
'The Shock of the Lightning' singer said: "I'd never heard any of his music. But when I watched him on tour he blew me away. I thought he was great.
"I tell you what, he's a serious musician, that kid, he's mega. I don't like many people. But it was a privilege for us to play shows with him."
