Dustin Hoffman gave Lauren Laverne parenting advice.

The British presenter - who is a judge on Orange unsignedAct with Sony Ericsson, Sundays on T4, at 12:40pm - interviewed the Oscar-winning actor for 'The Culture Show' shortly after giving birth to her first child, Fergus, in 2007.
Lauren revealed the 'Rain Man' star - who has six children - couldn't wait to share his expertise.
She said: "The first thing I did when I was back at work was interview Dustin Hoffman when Fergus was five weeks old which was pretty awesome. He gave me some advice.
"We talked about babies for about two hours, he was great. He was saying, 'Where's the baby? Let me give you some advice. Your kids will always ask you questions, they always have so many questions and you'll get to a point where you don't have any answers. That's the day you say, in this house, what I say goes. When you get to that point, then you're a parent.' "
Lauren, who is married to TV producer Graeme Fisher, says she got on so well with Dustin, he asked to meet her son.
She added: "He was brilliant and then he wanted to meet Fergus and take us dancing."
Lauren also presents a Saturday afternoon radio show on BBC 6Music from 4-6pm.
