Hulk Hogan recently told reporters about his ordeal having his son incarcerated: “It was the toughest six months of my life.”
Nick Bollea (Hogan) served six months in jail following his no-contest plea on a reckless driving charge; the son of Hulk Hogan, was released from jail early Tuesday morning - October 21.
According to the Tampa Tribune, the 18-year-old Bollea served 166 days of an eight-month sentence in connection with an August 2007 street racing crash that severely injured Bollea's friend, John Graziano.
Bollea was released early for good behavior,
Nick’s friend, John Graziano, was severely injured in the accident caused by negligence on Hogan's part, and will remain in a vegetative state indefinitely.

Asked about life since his son, Nick, was released from jail, he says, “Well it was the toughest six months of my life. He got out a couple days ago. I was so overjoyed…before Nick went in he was a great kid. Things happen for a reason…there’s a reason why God rearranged our family.” He adds, “He’s doing great!”
As for how Nick weathered six months in jail, Hogan comments, “He was stripped of everything and had a chance to look at who he really is.” He continues, “He is different. I’ve seen something come over Nick that is so positive and real. I could care less what the tabloids write about my son.”
Hogan talks about what life was like when Nick was in jail saying, “Well, I really didn’t get to see him. It was kind of crazy.”
Hogan says, “As soon as the accident happened our whole priority was to help John…he was like an extended part of my family. When this happened and John had this situation…the whole thing caught us off guard.”
Hogan declares, “For him to come home is great.”
