Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt talked about rumors that "The Hills" was over. Pratt commented to Extra, “I personally would be heartbroken if we didn’t get to watch LC on MTV anymore. I’m praying, doing anything in my power to keep LC on TV. Hear me LC – we need you on TV. We look up to you.”

The two explain recent photos of them in which the duo is decked out in McCain/Palin gear and Pratt is seen carrying a gun.
Montag says, “It’s in the Constitution, to bear arms. It’s very important to be able to protect yourself if somebody breaks in or from gangs or riots.” Pratt adds, “Have you ever called the police and had to be put on hold?” Montag declares, “Not in my house!”
Outspoken McCain/Palin supporters, Pratt jokes, “Heidi was the one who bought Sarah Palin that $150,000 worth of clothes.” He adds, “Come on what do you think Obama is spending on his suits…I don’t think he’s getting them at Gap or Target.”
Pratt thinks McCain and Palin might have more supporters in Hollywood than is apparent, saying, “We actually believe that everyone is all about McCain/Palin, but they’re scared, nervous. People go around saying they’re voting for Obama and when they get in that booth, I don’t see it happening. He doesn’t have the experience.”
The couple reveal their election night plans to “Extra,” Montag says, “We’ve already been invited to the inauguration.”
As for reconciling with Lauren Conrad at her fashion show after party last week, Pratt declares, “We actually owe the reconciliation to Extra.” About the current status of their relationship, Montag says, “I’ll see her hopefully soon or we’ll figure something out. It was so good to see her and congratulate her on her fashion show. It was the first time I’ve seen her in like two years.”
